Here’s the short version
I’m a Creative Director in Orange County, CA. I still design the highest-visibility work myself, from the identity and the marketing site to launch campaigns and the product itself. At Ozobot, that means carrying one brand from the first impression all the way into the apps, the classroom web platform, and Ari. Ari was pitched as “a gaming console on wheels,” but it’s really a robot that teaches kids how to code. The flagship app I redesigned has passed 5M downloads.
Before Ozobot, I built brands and websites for founder-led small businesses. I’ve run my own online retail business since 2009, so I know firsthand what makes a platform feel clear and trustworthy. AI is part of how I make things now. I build my own tools in Claude Code, which lets me explore more directions in less time and put working prototypes in front of people sooner.
What I bring
Three things I lead and still do hands-on.
Brand Identity & Systems1
Identity, guidelines, templates, and design systems built as patterns rather than one-offs. They let a small team move fast and still ship work that looks like one company.
Creative Direction2
Setting the direction and the bar, then designing alongside the team instead of reviewing from a distance. I run the work like an in-house agency, so launches ship on real deadlines.
UX / Product Design3
Product and app experiences designed around how people actually use them, not just how they look in a deck. The brand carries into the interface, so the site and the product feel like one continuous experience.
